can vintage enameled cast iron without refrigerator / freezer rangetop or gas oven?
Does anyone know if: • melting or vintage as Griswold Wagner Ware, or • enameled cast iron like Le Creuset, Staub descoware or go directly from refrigerator or freezer: • a blast furnace gas, or • in an oven or under broiler •? thank you for any help that I began to assemble a collection of small vintage kitchen utensils!

No enamel. And this is not healthy for the cast to do either. Iron increases with the heat and holds a little juice food bacteria (and) in the pan. But good old Corningware and Pyrex is able to do it with no harm to you and your family. (just not on The Stove Top) and aluminum never useless.
